The Love Chameleon

The Love Chameleon. The softy with the strength of the mountains, and a heart that can hold pressure like the depth of the seas. The Love Chameleon often has no idea how strong they are until it's pointed out to them. I've come up with 6 possible signs to clarify whether or not you are infact, a Love Chameleon.

1. You can befriend someone you were once (maybe still currently) in love with:

You have no problem being there for someone that you can acknowledge that you love, while having no desire to be with them romantically. Unfortunately, this can be not only a blessing, but a curse if you find yourself in a love jam. Loving someone unavailable in a romantic way is difficult and unhealthy, but one of the major characteristics of a Love Chameleon is that you're loyal. Loyalty is never a challenge, nor a question.

2. You are completely selfless:

This is the apidimi of a "Love Chameleon". Being selfless causes you to often put others before yourself subconsciously. When this happens in terms of romance and emotions, you're forced to put on this armor of strength and to completely reject your vulnerability, in order to see it through that your loved one/friend is okay first and foremost. This can be a problem, because you may be neglecting your emotional balance & health.

3. You're open-minded in terms of new souls:

When someone new comes into the picture, and you've decided that they are a match... You successfully bond with them, mainly because you can detach past pain from present interactions. This is a rare trait, because we all suffer from damaging interactions. But a Love Chameleon is someone who's non-judgmental. Instead of taking that hurt and applying it to new formed relationships, you take the wisdom you've gained, and apply those logics. You can often find yourself vibing with different kinds of personalities, as long as they fall within your personal spectrum of positive vs. negative energy, whether its broad or narrow.

Now what I mean by negative vs. positive energy, is to acknowledge that we all have a duality of both energies, some people are more positive than negative,  some are the opposite, and some are a balance between the two.

Me personally, I'm more positive than negative myself, and although I can vibe and tolerate more negative or aggressive energies, the kind of spirits that I tend to bond closely with, match well with my positivity. Otherwise, my major positivity just may annoy someone who likes to live comfortably on the other side of the spectrum.

4. You have no issues with communication:

You can openly be available when necessary, and you'll never find yourself becoming uncomfortable with expressing yourself... Wether it's in terms of your feelings, or wether it's being completely open and honest about what you're doing and where your head space is at, during the moment. You have nothing to hide.

5. You seek clarity on the spot:

You prefer not to beat around the bush, and you make sure that those around you know exactly how you feel about them. Also, you expect that in return. You're not a fan of the gray area, and if you've been placed in a compromised situation, you will fight and fight to be removed. You often speak out towards people who beat around the bush, and you become disappointed when others hinder theirs/and your healthy spaces. At the end of the day, you make sure to maintain the notion that you, yourself, will always be comforted by clarity and raw truths.

6. You can go with the flow of life and enjoy the ride:

Now, I've mentioned the blessings and curses of being a Love Chameleon, but the major blessing is the ability to press forward. Even when someone has snagged your heart real good, the ability to accept change (and in the mist of pain) is a very liberating trait to have. Love Chameleon's have the greatest ability to be free spirits, but to also be totally capable of dedicating and sacrificing major things to be a devoted lover. Now this does not mean that they lose themselves when they decide to settle down, balance is definitely key... always. Balance is the silent rule and standard when it comes to a Love Chameleon. It is a major requirement, it's the motivating force towards their life of clarity and wellness.

So as you may face conflicting tribulations being a Love Chameleon, you don't find yourself in those positions for long. You thrive well when adjusting, and you definitely glow well through your growth.
